With a sleek design and competitive features, the Razr 50s is expected to be a notable addition to the company’s popular foldable lineup. Key Specifications Revealed

According to a benchmark listing, the Razr 50s will come equipped with 8GB of RAM and run on Android 14, promising a smooth and modern user experience. This affordable foldable was also spotted on the HDR10+ certification website, suggesting it will support vibrant and high-quality visuals, a significant perk for media consumption.

Benchmark Performance

A report from 91Mobiles highlights the Razr 50s’ appearance on Geekbench 6, a well-known performance testing platform. The smartphone is listed with a motherboard named ‘aito’, built on ARMv8 architecture. Its processor features eight cores—four performance cores clocked at 2.50GHz and four efficiency cores at 2.0GHz, making it well-balanced for both power and efficiency.

While the chipset details were not explicitly mentioned, speculation points towards the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC, the same processor powering the global variant of the Razr 50. This chipset strikes a balance between performance and cost, aligning with the Razr 50s’ aim to be a budget-friendly foldable option.

Performance Scores

In terms of raw performance, the Razr 50s achieved 1,040 points in single-core tests and 3,003 points in multi-core tests on Geekbench. While these scores are lower than the premium Razr 50 Ultra, which scored 1,926 and 4,950 points, they closely align with the standard Razr 50, ensuring it holds its ground among competitors in the same price range.

Although the Geekbench 6.3.0 scores could not be independently verified, additional benchmarks focused on AI performance were obtained. In these tests, the Razr 50s scored 889 points in single precision, with 887 points in half-precision and 1,895 points in quantized tests, demonstrating capable AI performance.

A New Foldable in the Flagship Lineup

The Motorola Razr 50s is poised to join the Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra in Motorola’s growing lineup of foldable smartphones. With its combination of a foldable design, modern specs, and a more accessible price point, the Razr 50s will likely appeal to a wide audience seeking cutting-edge technology without breaking the bank. For those looking to embrace foldable smartphones, the Razr 50s could be an exciting new option when it officially launches.
