Launched in India, the Samsung Galaxy F05 has a 50-megapixel camera and a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC.

 On Tuesday, Samsung officially unveiled the Galaxy F05 in India. This new smartphone is equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor and comes with 4GB of RAM. It features a substantial 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast wired charging. The device boasts a large 6.7-inch HD+ display and is fitted with a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel main sensor and a secondary 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera housed in a waterdrop notch. The Galaxy F05 will be available later this month in a single RAM and storage configuration, and it seems to be a rebranded version of either the Samsung Galaxy M05 or the Samsung Galaxy A05.

In terms of pricing, the Samsung Galaxy F05 will cost ₹7,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. It will be available for purchase starting September 20 through Flipkart, Samsung's official Indian website, and select offline retail stores. The phone will be offered in a Twilight Blue color.

Regarding specifications and features, the Galaxy F05 sports a 6.7-inch HD+ display and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset with 4GB of RAM. The device includes 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by an additional 4GB of virtual RAM and up to 1TB via a microSD card. It runs on Android 14 with Samsung’s One UI 5, and Samsung has promised two OS upgrades and four years of security updates.

For photography, the Galaxy F05 comes with a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor on the rear, while the front-facing 8-megapixel camera is designed for selfies. The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging via a USB Type-C port. For security, it includes a Face Unlock feature and sports a distinctive leather pattern on its rear panel.
